During the 108 minutes of Kelly Reichardt’s Showing Up, I kept thinking that I was watching the find of people—and the kind of art—that I go to the movies to get away from.
Showing Up is a wan little movie about a wan little woman who makes wan little art that her wan little friends exclaim over at their wan little receptions.
